Important Policies to Note:
- Eligibility: Weston Lake is exclusively for Military, DoD, 100% DAV and their accompanied guests.
- Reservation Policy: Cabin reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance for active duty and 60 days for other authorized patrons. Community House and picnic shelters can be reserved up to 2 years in advance. Cabin occupancy is limited to registered guests only; parties or gatherings are not permitted.
- Boat Rental Policy: All boat rentals are due back one hour before closing. No rentals are allowed within one hour of closing time.
- Fishing: Fishing in Weston Lake requires both a South Carolina state license and a Fort Jackson post permit, obtainable through iSportsman.
- Swimming: Swimming is permitted at your own risk (swim at your own risk, no lifeguards on duty). Swimming season typically opens around May 20th.
- Reservation Refund Policy: Full refunds are provided for cancellations made 48 hours or more before check-in. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the first day’s rental fees.
- Boater Safety: While not mandatory for boat rentals, completing a Boater Safety Course is highly recommended. You can find a course at http://www.boatus.org/southcarolina/.
